Saturday December 13 Poets Building Bridges Zoom Room
With great pleasure, we invite you to witness the inaugural public performance of Ziggurat Poets at a Walt Whitman Birthplace event. On December 13, 2025, we will unveil a new artistic endeavor titled Ziggurat. Our mission is to reconnect literary artists and enthusiasts with literature through a firsthand physical experience in this distanced, social media focused, digital age. We will provide free/ affordable poetry handouts and host in-person readings and literary events. This project aims to elevate the visibility of Black and brown poetry, honoring the resilience and unity of the African Diaspora and the mother continent. Our pages are open to any contributor. We seek new, fresh, daring work that challenges the paradigm.
