Culver City Book Festival

I must tell you that things have been far too busy to keep things properly sorted here on the website and for that I apologize. There are a number of things coming up this year, currently planned are at least one event per month all the way into August. How has your January/ February been???

Beast Crawl Literary Festival is on the way to stomping the ground of Oakland once again this year, to celebrate National Poetry Month in April. We look forward to making this a regular event.

I will be reading at the San Francisco Public Library on March 13 with the Clarion Alley Mural Project. Looking very much forward to that as well. It's an excellent lineup of poets and activists at a beautiful library for an excellent cause.

HOWEVER, I would like you to please come visit with me THIS WEEKEND at the Paper Press Books & Associates Publishing Company table at the Culver City Book Festival happening on SATURDAY February 26 at the Wende Cold War Museum in Culver City. Many great writers from LA and beyond will be hanging about and some really great indy publishers as well. We will celebrate the publication of VAGABOND PRESS' "Reimagine America" anthology with a reading (I will be reading there as well) and sales of the book available for those interested. If you are not familiar with the books that I make as Paper Press Books, I invite you to check www.paperpress.org/store. Yes it's a tumblr blog. For now!

Swing by the festival, listen to some cool poetry, and pick up some Paper Press titles, including a signed copy of KR Morrison's CAULDRONS! She will be there in person to sign your copy.
